bascially just been on some really long drivees as been away and in my excort cab ive noticed when i brake abit sharply the car dip's to the left the sort flick's back any idea's what's causing this? is it something to do with my brakes? or is it something else please help me as it maybe dangerous

couple of things to look at, 1. look at the disc on that wheel to see if there is any abnormal wear, as this could cause the disc to lock up, 2. check the bushes on the lower suspension arm as if these go (which is very common on later escorts) then they will cause the car to move about when braking though this should also make the steering feel a but "wobboly" sometimes.
