Top Gear ending emotional? NOW WITH THE VIDEO!!
Dont know if it was just me but I found the aston ending quite emotional.
Just the mixture of beautiful scenery, the music and the sound of the aston.
It is just such a beautiful car, and although it wont be the last "fast" car I think clarkson was right in saying its the begginging of the end?
Ps: anyone know what the music piece they used was?
Here is the tube link finally, if you want to watch again

I think it the aston featurewas an amazing piece of television, maybe one of the best of 2009?
Just sort of summed up "our" world in the last year.
From the black and white pics of the james bond aston db5 on the alps, the, lambo, gt40, the grass blowing and the poppy fields.
Dont know if anyone else was feeling it.?

Hairs on the back of my neck stood up and eye's welling up but thats probably a combination of lager and potentially loosing my job of 12 years this week due to the credit bastard crunch
Still stunning end scene and a superb car/tune
Here's to the future eh........

There are many things wrong with the world at the minute IMO and the vast majority if not all of the changes i dislike (PC bullshit, Money Worries, Britain going to the dogs ect ect) and at times you reflect
I bet they'll be many many people affected by that last scene like we have been
Props to the guys who came up with the idea! very thought provoking for many reasons!

To be honest i think it's "moments" like that end scene that can put things into perspective and generate your feelings

I loved the ending - best way to show a car imo - real roads, nice engine sound, no waffling.
Got me in the mood for a blat so I pushed the Westy out of the garage at 21:15 and went for a four hour blat to the lakes and back - got in bed at 01:30 this morning. Best drive I've had in it so far. Paying for it at work today though!

Spent Sunday morning gazing at a few VXR8s and Monaros at the Breakfast Club - they sound so good and judging from the slip road antics onto the motorway, a proper driver's car too!
A proper car you could go on a driving holiday in as well, even if you have kids
...and for anyone that missed it
