Default Bodywork Gods. Stonechip Q.

Can someone explain to me how you get a good hard edge when spraying stonechip onto flat paint? i.e. where the sill runs into the rear quarter.

Getting some work done on the Boxster and the bodyshop are really struggling to get a factory-like finish. Driving me and the painter mental.
