How much in your penny jar?
Filled mine up so decided to count em up and cash em in down the bank. I ran out of bags at £242 but am not half way through it yet. 
Anyone else found a suprising sum of cash when they've counted up their penny jars?

Well Steve least now you can afford to go out and buy the complete under car neon kit for the Cossie that you was telling me about & saving up for! What colour did you decide to go for in the end!!
Oh if your only half way thru your jar,,,then perhaps your'll have enough left over for those spokely dokey things you was looking at on ebay too

Ive got a penny jar, i chuck all coins in it though, had about 200-250 when i checked last, its about 6 months since i last emptied it, so i must be chucking about a tener a week in it!
i use it to pay for my 6 foot tall refill bottle of nitrous for my nova, BHP by direct debit

£273 in £1/£2&50p

A very good friend of mine used to throw all his change in a big container after a night out.
After 6 months he used the contents to purchase a set of kevlar coned B&W speakers
Apparently we have a chage jar and have had for ages. Nobody told me

i got a traffic light money holder thing with a clear stand (main pole of light) over the last 2 years its just about 1/4 full mite have about £40 to £50 in there 
im not going to emply it till its full tho!!

cleared mine out about a month ago, was shocked how much was in there.

ive got a martell cognac bottle full to the brim and a asda washing tablets box half full
all 1s 2s and 5s tho, and i cant be arsed counting it.
will probs go to asda with it and tip it in the chnage machine, worth the 7.5% to save me the hassle as im a real lazy coont

Most I ever got in one count was about 120 quid in one of those huge glass whisky bottles. When it was nearly full for the 2nd time i knocked it over it smashed due to the weight! 
I dont bother counting em now, just take it to one of those counting machines in tescos/sainsburys! Much more fun to watch it count up rather than fuckin about with bank change bags lol
