Alrite peeps.so whos all crashed their rs turbo's then.any one got any pics?? i crashed mine into the back of a parked bus.was gutted but my pride and joy only came out with a little dent

i crashed mine towing it home when i just bought it, the tow bar snapped and sent the passenger side into the back of my laguna, lucky tho it only fooked the door

i rapped my old 1.9 fezzy turbo in2 a tree after sliding on ice a week after buying it. total write off lol

Snap mate I'd done a 70hour week and had the next day off. I then got a phone call telling me somebody had called in sick and I had to go in. I was too tired to drive and shouldn't have. Saddly I did and drove my RS into a bus. I don't have any digital pics but there is a pic somewhere of the engine on a pallet and my bro standing where the engine should be with nothing more than the inner wings on the front of the car

I learnt my lesson from that as I was only insured TPF&T the repairs cost me Ł2500

Still have the old girl though and wouldn't get shot of her

Some bloke was doing a 3 point turn just after a blind bend, I cam round the corner to see this twat on the other side of the road with both front wheels on the kurb. He wasnt moving, so I decided to go through the gap as me bro was right behind me and if I stamped the brakes on he would of hit me! So half way through the gap I feel a shunt and look out the drivers window to see a boot parked in my door Bloke tried saying I drove into him to my ins company

Then when my car came back from repair 3 of us in RS Turbo's decided to go to London. Me and me bro were side by side down a dual carriageway road (If that makes sense?) with me mate behind me bro. Then a parked car comes up and I slow down to let me bro go and he did the same to let me go, then time run out and he stamped his brakes on or he would of hit the parked car... Next thing I see is my mates car parked in the rear of me bro's My bro swerved to miss the parked car and done the passenger side door on my car... So 3 RS Turbo's, 1 written off, 1 with front end damage and another with a fooked drivers door 1 week after I had the drivers side repaired Must say the old bill loved us that night

I sold my RSturbo an S2 White one 180bhp to a mate who after a couple of years sold it to another very good mate a week after he hit a tree and died in it in Braintree, Essex RIP Old Shag just had a kid as well this was about a yr n half ago i guess

Holty:got my car from a boy in elderslie,was originally from carluke area.doesnt exist no more.stripped it and sold the bits at least my car has helped other rs turbo's stay on the road,and i can look at the bright side im getting a subaru this month yay

I crashed mine going to an AVA rolling road day, leading the rest of them round to the twisty road to AVA i some how never made the second corner off the rounabout, greasy roads and 30 MPH max

Bent the tie bar, wishbone, koni, wheel, fucked the tyre and twisted the shell, got it all fixed back to the way it was before that day.

The best thing about it was i still put it on the rollers( made 199@ the wheels that day ) and it got sorted car in the fast ford rolloing road shoot out even with bits hanging off it

back in june 2001 i was going of for the day with a girl i had been going with for 7 months we was going to sort something out as it went down hill between us, i only rebuilt my engine and had a new turbo just a week before.

when we was on our way back i got done for speeding and half an hour later a car was coming towards me with a trailer behind it but the little trailer had come of and went over the roof of my car it had kids bikes food tins etc in it.

I haven't written mine off cos I haven't driven it yet LOL, when I was doing up the shell though someone reversed a trailer in to the drivers front corner, meaning I had to replace a perfectly good front wing and straighten the inner wing and the front panel. Not got any pics of it though
I have since bought me a scoob too, yes got shares in cadbury's lol! Am leaving it standard 'ish to avoid melting piston syndrome! Am still a ford nut, just need a reliable quick daily runner that won't cost me a small fortune to run!

So far i've totalled two of the things (although I was quite young)!

First one was a black f-reg which I got just after i passed my test. Was five up with a load of mates in the car after coming back from a club skidded on some diesel on a roundabout and smashed into a barrier at about 60mph, totally twisted the car and we had to climb outta the sunroof.

Second was a grey g-plater when I was 18 was giving it large with now fiance innthe car, who i'd only been going out with for a week, anyway i was showing off getting the arse out round corners and i lost it one way and then the other and hit a dry stone wall twisting the chassis. She was NOT impressed.

Must have made a good impression tho cos she's still with 7 years and two kids later!

Was runnin 15psi,hybrid,chip.nuffin special,quick rite enough.not near as fast as yours but remember its the driver lolz.al show u ma scoob when a get it.

its an RA Engine thats in this. never underestimate an rs turbo or its driver,been in a few turbo's thats pished over the top of scooby's.

I see F75 all the time,he works with my mate.Good nick too,he keeps it well clean

Last time i seen it the car had been resprayed but was looking a bit tacky with bright red drums and alloys, mint car when my mate got it all it need was the paint freshened, low miles too.
