Default Skyline, hit pylon snapped in half

round the corner from my aunt and uncles in gosford NSW 1 day before we got there from gold coast. 3 killed, driver(20) and his 15yr old preggers GF! THINK it was her brother in too! Totally snapped in half at 200 KPH. Was a right state. Subaru did same thing in same week further into Sydney...again snapped in two! Thought the JAP stuff was built well?

Anyways its getting just like over here....scoobys and skylines everywhere, mind you the aussies do wear floral shirts

at 150 mph+ most things would snap if they hit a pylon.

Lee - why havent you changed your location as you are in oz are you not?!

P.S Think the girl was the g/f of the passenger not the driver so could still have been her brother driving.

A solid steel billet would snap in half at that speed, it has nothing to do with the quality of the car and everything to do with the idiot holding the steering wheel.

I think most cars would snap in half when broadsiding either a pylon, tree or lampost at 70mph!

there was a thread a few months ago about the audi a3 that hit a tree at
silly speed, it was in a few bits, the engine was over 100 yards from the car.

Must have been powerfull....the road aint that long and has two 90 degree bends at either end, and the post was about half way along the road!!! So to get to 200kph was fooking going some! Road was quite 'dippy'! Easy to see why he lost it! Bloody crazy.

The road has a dip just before the pole and the reports reckon he was airborne for 40ft prior to impact.

Lee - Thought you were settled here mate with the car etc. I came to see you at the Geelong day in 2003. I was the shifty looking character looking around your car that you were watching!

Saff Cossie.....your mistaking me with someone else mate!!! I just got back from a months holiday there thats all!!

Hmmm, there were a few dips but nothing that would fling it 40ft high, no way.

Lee Reynolds - There is another guy with your name here with a moonstone 3 door, think he is from Leeds. Just added 2 and 2 together and must have got 5!

Sorry mate, suppose I should have noticed the lack of 3 door in your siggy.
