pmsl. all this coming from a memeber of the human race.
we ARE the most disgusting species on the planet. we hunt for "fun",we pollute the earth with no thought of the rest of the worlds animals and intenet on destroying each other.
we kill lambs for food,we breed animals in the tiniest of pens for us to eat,we feed them growth advancers so they are ready to eat quicker or are fatter with better taste qualities in them and all of it in disgusting in humanine ways
all animals imo are a far better breed than us

she couldnt fight her way out of a plastic bag!!! I was watching 3 pagpies earlier, in my road, 'stalk' a cat, they were on the floor, walking up to and taunting the cat! The cat legged it, 2 magpies stayed where they were but one flew off to go after the cat!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

i seriously hate magpies.i wouldnt think twice of putin a .22 through there head.(sorry bullet) but where i live there is loadsand im fed up seeing them kill sparrows/starlings etc.not nice waking up to loads of screaming birds as these fuckers peck them to death.

I understand your point however we are not all the same, i do not agree with hunting or battery hens and the such. I was brought up to respect where my food comes from, and yes we kill to eat but i feel that this is acceptable as long as the animal in question is treated correctly before hand IMO.
I know we wont agree on this but i respect your point

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
iv seen pics of the rabbitt,and its much bigger than r's,bigger than the cat...u shud try living down ere wiv the pescy seaguls,there annoying....get yaself a super soaker,fill it with bleach,and then shoot the feckers as sum ppl are winging bout killing magpies....anything is a pest unless it has the rite to cum into your garden...b it a thief,or a rodent,im gona shoot ya,the least i can do is slice a limb off...

its the circle of bud.
magpies are a member of the crow family and are therefore carnivarous(sp) and they would eat it afteryes i know some birds normally eat stuff like seed etc but magpies are no different than a hawk/owl etc.just you dont see them much doing it
lions,tigers,sharks,snakes etc etc all pick on smaller stuff but are not hated
imo no different

this is my point. who decides we are better than the rest of the worlds animals?we ALL have a right to feed.and WE are encrotching on natures land,so they will adapt and feed around us.
imo every animal has its right to be alive. im not better than it at all.in fact in a lesser species imo due to our blantent disreguard for the world we live in

i love all animals,and would love to av my stables once again,but i dont think sum species should get away with it..its not all magpies,just the 1's in northampton,and you thought us ppl who r northampton pure bloods are bad,lol..its just a select few of animals,if you loved rats,but sum were cuming in and steeling your grain,would u leave em be?..just bcoz a certain breed of dog,take the staffi for instance has had a bad rep,dont mean there all bad,i love my staffs,and have never had probs,same wiv my old roti wiv adht..theres animal cruelty,and theres looking after your pets and property...

no worries, i know it seems like i am contradicting myself and probably am, but i very much hated finding dead chicks and raided nests and although magpies cannot be held responsible for all of these i have seen them do it many a time and hence why i used to grab the gun and go after them, also because i was partial to the odd mag....pie.....

maybe the ones round me are kinder because i feed the birds.
i have 3 in the garden now.one on the fat balls and two on the ground eating cherries from our cherry tree.they dont touch the other birds.
maybe the ones in town find food harder so are going for fresh meat

o dear i will be quite shortly I am also a big fan of animals having grown up in the country, shame someone stole my dog as a pup as well, got him back a few days later but as you do say there are some pretty shit people out there

To be honest i've not seen a Magpie kill anything before and we have loads of them round here! They dont bother our rabbits in the garden either, next doors cat is more of a problem!

Whether we like it or not, humans are at the top of the food chain!! Sure with our intelligence that means we should as a race respect animals but there are limits. And eliminating vermin is not such a bad thing.

warren,no im not an activist but what i have said is how i feel.and with out us supposed "intelligent" humans making guns and knifes etc etc maybe the barbary lion wouldnt be so close to complete extinction like the other varieties.and various other big cats,elephants etc etc
mankind is imo on a crash course for extinction itself after its ruined the rest of the animals we wipe out along the way

My room and car was rabbit heaven!!
They were even looked after in the car:
