internal fan & radiator fan
hello,
I have a Ford Focus LX 1.8 52 plate. Just recentley purchased it having never had a ford before. Problem I seem to be getting is when I put the internal fan on in the car, setting 1 to 4 (on hot or cold setting) the engine radiator fan kicks in straight away and wont turn off until the internal fan is switched off. This happens even when the engine is stone cold. The Air Con isnt on nor is the fan set for the windscreen. Is this normal? I cant make my mind up if it something to do the fan/air con system or not, or whether something has gone wrong? Any help appreciated.

What position is the heat setting as if its the hot setting (although guessing not in this whether) I think this also enables auto aircon so regardless what position blower is set at auto aircon and fans will be active.
If in hot position turn down a bit and not at windscreen and turn blower onto position 1 and see what happens.
Martin.
