Default Any CCTV / AV experts out there?

Before I attempt to put something on AVForums i thought i'd ask on here as i'm sure someone may know!!

Basically in short I have fitted a couple of CCTV cameras at home and bought myself a DVR (digital recorder) with built in Hard Disk etc etc..... The cameras plug directly into the back of the DVR via a BNC cable. I want to be able to access the DVR from all TV's in the house. I presume I do this by tuning in the channel on one of the analogue channels on the TV's. However, upon dummy installing the DVR and connecting it directly to one of my TV's (BNC connector into the Video Out of the DVR and on the other end of the aerial wire a standard aerial plug into the back of the TV) I can't pick up the channel. I have spoken to the supplier and they advise I need an RF Modulator? What is one of these?!! This may cure the problem of viewing it through one of the TV's but how do I get it connected to all of them?

Do I need one of these?:

If so where would the RF Modulator go?

If anyone could help it would be great.

can you not just plug the dvr output into the aux (yellow) socket on your tv?

the rf modulator takes the signal and converts it to a frequency like you would get from an aerial

Im not sure how you would make a BNC --> phono cable? i need it to be an aerial connector though so it plugs into the amplifier in the link?

you can just get a little connector with bnc on one end and phono on the other. go in maplin.

why do you need it to connect to the amplifier in the link?

oh, i see. then as advised you are probably best off with an RF modulator. something like this:

i don't have any experience with those though, so maybe someone else can advise you on a specific one or ask away of avforum
