BHP per ton is no good if you've got shit gearing too,local lad with MK cars Indy with a blade engine said he would blow my saph
His was rapid off the line and in first three gears but once we got to 80 mph and I was in 3rd I passed him easy,into 4th was leaving him for dead.

That is impressive, but what you really want is a 115 hp cvh in a Westfield.

coskev, the balde engine really dosnt have that much poke though only a 900 after all, they have to be reved like crazy to get the power

if you watch the vid again he's passing bikes on the exit and entry to very slight corners, the car just carrys so much more speed through the bends that by the time the bikes are getting the power down he's already past oh and theres the small fact that the bikers probably dont want to come off and kill themselfs so there probably taking it a bit easy

ive got a vid of a westfield with a 330bhp cosworth engine going round the ring being chassed by an R1 and es down the straights the bike is noticibly faster but in the bends (even slight bends) it dont stand a chance

but thats what duznt make sense on this one daz. a 330 brake cosi powered westy would fookin slaughter that 180bhp one yet no one is trying . i think the 1st car it came to put up the best fight but it still seemed a bit pathetic , im pretty sure i saw the westy flashing people outa the way on the vid which if i was out there would piss me right off and would quite possibly force me to go past on the straights on the back wheel flipping him the bird and leaving him for dust .

lets put it against mine for example, right if ie got 350bhp but my car is quite heavy for a westfield at 700kg so my power to weight is aprox 500bhp/ton

the busa has 180 bhp but only weighs aprox 500 kg =360bhp/ton

so in a straight line i would expect to be faster, round the ring i would expect to be the same in my car if not a little slower

cause the busa weighs fook all theres allot less momentun to brake down for and get around corners . which in turn means as were both coming out of the corner he'll already be carrying more speed than me and im guna have to wait till i can get the power down to catch up.

look at the radicals and the westfield xtr2s they mostly only use up to 200bhp bike engines in a 450-500kg car but very few things will even touch them round a track as for that 320bhp turbo busa radical that laped the ring in somthing silly like 7:15 well that just sums it up

AFAIR it's in something like Le Mans LM1 car. But I'm not sure. I think F1 hes to frigile chasis and suspension for the ring this days.

i reckon yours would would fookin piss it round most tracks if you new them as well as he does after all we arent talking about a massive weight difference between the two . i keep watching this video and tbh it looks like most of the people one there are out for a sunday drive most are off line and the bikers may aswell be riding puch maxi's

Fastest roadlegal car about 4-5years back was the Blitz Supra, but these days its an Westfield XTR2Turbo or whatever them things are called, 320bhp lil tiny thing, black n gold.
