Default painting floorpan

whilst the weather is nice and my interior is out of the car i was thinking of giving the floorpan inside the car a freshen up as there is some surface rust here and there.
what should i do about my floor numbers?
should i just mask them up and paint around them??? and should i use body coloured paint so it doesnt look suspicious to potential future buyers??? I dont want it to look like its had the numbers welded in do I

just take some photos before and after and during for any new owner to see.

As for the number, yep, mask off around the nubers and then go for it.

What finish/colour is the floor at the moment?

My car is white so i used smooth hammerite in white. Make sure you get rid of all the surface rust, i put kurust on it too. I also done under the bumpers and anywhere u cant see in the same way.Looks nice when dry and offers good protection for a good while.
