Can i record programmes that are on the red button?
 

Want to record the Moto GP later on but its on BBC via the red button, is it possible to record it? Im not much good with technical stuff lol

if ur using sky plus no, if ur using a recording system that just records what you see on the screen, yes.

I was planning on using the timer record so i wont actually be in when it starts so it wont be on the screen, will i just have to leave the TV switched on and on the right channel whilst im out so it records it?

that should work, but wont you still need someone to press the red button at the right time so it shows the right prog?

Yeah i may just have to wait in till it starts then!

In Freeview I think the red button is just a shortcut to a different channel number, so if you set your timer for the right channel it should be ok.

On ours, the number comes up as it changes and I think the BBC use the 300-305 range.
