Didnt they do the best part of 150 straight out of the box ?? Might of taken a while to get there but I am sure they were good for about 147

Well, considering a standard Evo takes around 25 seconds, I'd suggest a 2wd Cossie would take longer than that.

Rather annoyingly, most of the Autocar/Motor/other mag times for when they were newonly give times up to 120mph
They seemed to do about 142/143 max as standard on the speed bowl so about a true 145/146 on a good long straight.

However, in late 1988 Autocar got hold of a TT modded 285bhp Sapphire and gave Correvit times up to 130mph
0-30 2.3
0-130 25.6......so somewhere around 23.5 ish seconds

Standard one for comparison was
0-30 2.2
0-120 24.7

a standard evo what?1?2?5?8?
shouldnt think a 2wd saff would be too far off an evo in a straight line tbh having owned both a 2wd saff and a basically std evo1 which keeps with a evox fq360 in a straight line.
