Default Airbag removal - resistors (pics please)

I've got a Polo GTi (track toy/daily driver) and hate the standard Airbag Steering wheel. I'v got a Momo wheel and boss from my old Mk3 Golf GTi. I know the wheel fits the polo with the same boss but i want to put the airbag light out with a resistor rather than pull the bulb. Does anyone have any photos showing something like this or had experiance doing this? From what i can gather the resistor needed is a 2 ohm. Any help with this would be appreciated, as the VW forums have been useless.

Thanks

Just disconnect the plug that plugs in to the airbag and put a resistor in its place. I used a 2.7 ohm 20 watt resistor in my S14.

I used a 3.3 ohm resistor on an escort.

All i did was push resistor legs into the airbag plug and tape it up, If it doesn't work swap the resistor around the other way

I took the two metal sockets out of the plug and crimped them on the resistor then covered it in electrical tape.
