Default any one know where i can get a high density foam

like the stuff used for moddeling and flower aranging needs to be around 5ft by 4ft and around 5" thick to be used as a mold

cat you get it as 2 liquids so you can make the amount you need

They call it Oasis Block don't they.

Have a gander on Ebay or a local garden center/florist.

some bulding insulation foam has a high density!

needs to be able to be shaped ans sanded and then be coated so it isnt porous

Most flower shops will have it, probably not in the size you need though.

Oasis on the crowther industrial estate in washington make that stuff, think thats your best bet for something of that size.

its to add to some origeonal body work to extend it to then make a mold if any one knows anything else that would work

as Gareth says....there are foam boards that go under the floor slabs in new houses,they are very similar to the stuff you need Jacko, and are in 8' x 4' sizes and roughly £20-£25 a sheet,may need 2 sandwiched together to the the thickness though.

could be way off, but may be worth while a pm to ferd of seriesoneturbo - he got me some non porus matting - sure he said his or his misses place dealt with it and may do something close what you after.

worth a pm at the very least just to see.

you want the non foil stuff and just bond it together with spray adhesive to form the overall shape and then whittle it down to suit your needs, work it like balsa with wood working tools then final sand over and apply spray filler over it to get the final finish/ fill in any pores. You can then 2 pack it and use it as a form

kingspan insulation? 50mm thick but im sure you get thicker.
