I have not kept in touch with what's still available for the 3dr, as you may know I am having mine repainted and would like to know if the following new parts are available:

Full set side mouldings
Black inserts in the bumpers
RS500 Tape stripe
Rubber seal around front grille
Door window seals
Anything else you can think of!?

I also need to refub a set of std wheels, who's best and how much?

i guess that would be inlikely to get new bits, more likely to find someone breking a 3door and get the mint bits and bobs off that ??

kev sharp has just sold a new front grill seal on here for 30 quid.
copies of the side mouldings are available thinks it automotive unlimited
rear 1/4 seals are hard to get hold of dunno about the door ones

you can still buy the grill rubbers from ford,bought 2 from my local dealer a couple of weeks ago,believe it or not they had them in stock,and they have got a few more too!

When i repainted mine i took the rubbers off very carefully and cut the worst of the foam tape off the back then toffee wheeled the residue glue off re stuck them with 30mm wide special tape. You wouldnt know they have been off. You can get copies though. Will dig out the company for you. grill seals still available from fords to order and door rubbers etc. Rear windows very trickey. Bumper inserts again come up regular but if taken off carefully can be used again no probs.

Automotive Unlimited have had the 500 side graphics and stripes remade to exact original spec Martin - I think the Automotive website has them.

unless the window rubbers are fucked leve them to me i can get them off or you can cheat by ussing the inners and swap whitch side there used on cos they dont have the metal in them

Set mouldings, as said AMI, think they are around £200 a set. Bonus to them is they dont have the metal backing strip so if needs be they can easily be removed and refitted.

Bumper inserts, got mine from http://www.classiccar-trim.com/ Seem spot on compared to original profile....and dirt cheap.

RS500 stripe kit, DMB graphics...if not on his website just email him, Dave is very helpfull with a very fast turn around at great prices.

Rubber seal....been answered enough in this thread already lol

Not sure on door window seals as they were as new on mine so never looked into them.

i got my rear side window seals from ford germany.... in chrome... so had to get them blacked.... not seen any in black in the uk in new condition for years....

The o/e door window seals are still available through ford parts direct, all 4 have different finis numbers but they are all the same part just a few mm difference between inners and outers, just buy 4 of whatever they have in stock, they are a flexi strip not hardened like the originals so no warping but look identical when fitted. About £30 each. Bought 4 off them a few months ago

just found the email from fordparts. I bought 4 outers and they fitted the car fine, if they have run out of these just get a combination of inners /outers that they can get and mix and match
