i feel my clutch starting to go. for a s2 escort
not too sure the exact one but i know i got a AP PADDLE CLUTCH at the mome.
its running 190bh @ 202 1bls torque.
eny suggestions?,
PADDLE AGAIN, ORGANIC, FAST ROAD, BLACK DIAMOND havent got a clue??????

why get flywheel skimmed mate, i didnt have to do that on my old s2 escort????

if you dont get your flywheel skimmed over; your clutch will not last as long as it should. you skim the flywheel to level out the surface and give it a clean clamping area for the new clutch to grab onto/ bed in.
edit to say: i've seen plenty of people complain about clutch judder after fitting a new clutch becuase the didnt skim the fly, its common practice

true you skim it to give a clean level surface also after wear the area that the friction plate grips to wears down but the area that the clutch cover bolts to does not leaving a bigger gap between fly wheel and clutch cover so cluct life is reduced. So you skim area that cover is bolted to down as well giving correct clearnce as new spec would be.
