BMW M535i, anybody know anything about them?
As above, there is one for sale local to me and im wondering if its worth a go.
Im struggling to find anything about them online and tbh i have never even heard of them let alone seen one but i like the look of it.
how are they for rust, reliability/parts availability and are they fast at all?
i prosume the handling will be shit and i cant seem to find any info on how to improve this online either.
thanks

its all about the 5 pot
Good old bus, reliable, suppose as long as its got no HGF symptoms, and worn bushes should be ok, should be used and kept as a collectable because i doubt it will hold up as an every day smoker, they are afterall an old bmw and bits arnt as easy to come by. My dad had a E28 525e years ago, it broke down with a knackard waterpump, parked up in a layby, came back an hour later with a tow and was never seen again.

manual or auto ?
if its manual it should have the dogleg 1st , factory lsd and perfect 50 50 weight distribution . its big brother ( e28 m5) is still classed as one of the best drivers cars ever produced .
if its an auto make sure you check the box properly as there are a couple of issuses that crop up .
ive been looking for another one for a while now to use as a drift/track car i fuckin love em
oh i forgot to add , check behind the rear bumpers for rust as its usually were its at its worst and will give you a good idea to the condition of the rest of it

It was pretty well sorted and it was based on an M535i. It was a dark colour, black or dark blue.
Haven't seen it for a few years?
