Default For those that care, MR2 on the rollers...

incase anyone gives a shit (unlikely ) i took the MR2 to Bexley motor Works for a RR shootout today and it made rather good power

259bhp @ 6200rpm

thats at about 12/13psi (actuator is fucked and wont hold high boost on a RR)

i'm rather impressed with that result TBH, lookiing forward to getting some proper brakes and tyres on her and seeing how she performs on track up against everyone else

will post a graph if anyone cares but its not particuarly interesting

na not at the wheels, i think it was about 190ish at the wheels.

it pulls fairly well once moving, quicker than a M3s (e46s inc.) i'd rather have the M3 tho... lol

engine spec:
Std engine
Cone Air Filter (fuck nows what make)
Ally Intercooler (80quid ebay special cheap thing)
Fuel Cut Defender (basically removed boost limit)
More Boost (14psi, std is 10)
MSD speed de-limiter (112mph SUCKS )
Setup by MSD

aparently you can get em to about 280bhp like that too, just will be a bit less reliable

ginge, an MR2 weighs 1260 Kg which gives you 205bhp/tonne

an E36 weighs 1406kg which gives you 203bhp/tonne

why would you be surprised it was quicker in a straight line than an M3? i have owned both remember

already had a tear up with an E36 and an E46 and pulled from both (not mega ammounts mind)

altho the fact is that is that ther M3 is a FAR better car and i'd much rather be driving one

Andy, from what i gather the MR2 engine is actually pretty decent, just a shame about the car they fitted it to eh!

i'll cameraphone the graph later :P
