Default GPS, performance meter/ lap timers

Hi,

I'm after a GPS unit with, to be used in cars and on motorbikes.

- Lap timer (100+ lap memory), with at least 3 splits, (with times and speeds)
- Performance meter, with 0-60, 0-100, 0-150, 0-max, 60-150 etc etc, it needs to be able to read upto at least 200mph,
- Accel and cornering G's
- braking speeds, distances and G's.
- and ideally able to log Rpm, and other engine related info.

i'm looking for a new GPS lap timer, as my old beacon sort can be more trouble than its worth getting the beacon out, and in a position it works every time.

I have seen/ briefly used the Racelogic's and Datron stuff on magazine thrash days in 2006-7, but never played with them or seen what they can do fully.

- V box mini,

- Performance box, £310 - £395,

- Drift box, £415 - £495,
http://www.driftbox.com/prices.html

Edited to add,

-AX22, £500 -

Has anyone had experience with any of above, or got any other options?

I've been thinking about the AX22, but it isn't cheap.

Don't know if this is of any interest

Cheers.

i have actually got the Race tech AP22, i brought it in 2002/3, and used it alot and could get it accurate @ the pod with some setting up, but everytime you change the power of the car, it needed setting up. So i haven't used it since 2004, but still have it under the bed in the draw.

AP22, £120 - http://www.race-technology.com/ap22_2_82.html

AX22, £500 - http://www.race-technology.com/ax22_2_29.html
