Leona Lewis, your views?
I really rated her during the last x factor and bought her first album and thought it was good, but i have just downloaded her version of Run from itunes and i cant stop plying it, lol
I think she is a fantastic talent, and pretty fresh too

Don't like the song "Run" ; either her version or the original Snow Patrol version, so can't really comment on it as such, but I think she has a superb voice and has a lot of potential to go far provided she doens't peak too soon and fade out like so many other "stars" have done, specially the ones that wer bron out of the reality talent shows....
Oh, and she's fucking fit aswell, depsite her rather large honker!

I remember listening to it in my car and thinking WOW!!
She's in another league and thoroughly deserves to have all the success in the world. Simon Cowell let it slip the other night on the x-factor that he'd known her for years when he said, 'in all the years I've known you, you've never changed' so it's obvious that she's had a helping hand but nobody can deny that she has an amazing voice.
I personally love her

Her cover of run is amazing, end of. Has everything a song should have, it builds to a quality climax. But being an old school rock fan and play music professionally, I gotta agree that she's like any other bint out there....except she really does have talent. Maybe not as much as Rhydian, but she can sustain notes in a very high register, which is always a bonus.

What, X Factor? Hallelujah I hear? Why do people have issues with that, think its a great song. Played it at a few gigs without band backup, just me and the guitar. I think Alex will sing it well, she's basically Leona but with more attitude, but its not a big Aretha Franklin type soul song, so hope Alex tones it down a bit.

mate its a disgrace!!to cover such a beutiful song,can u really see JLS singing it?ita full of emotion and sadness,then they come along and cover it!!i really hope the jeff buckley versio makes it to no1 instead

I hate that version, its so crap. The Rufus Wainwright version on piano is so much better, more appealing. Check it out on Youtube. Its the one used on Shrek 
But its used because it is an awsome song, and actually quite difficult to sing and play at the same time.
As for JLS, I find it difficult to imagine they can tie shoe laces let alone sing! None of them have any talent. The strongest singer screams and has no sweet vibrato to his voice. It sucks to see losers get a shot at a musical career when proper musicians and singers are left without even a hint of opportunity...

... Reality TV/Manufactured bands/artists are killing the production of new music, charts are full of covers and re-releases 
....
Not a bad voice but be nice to hear her sing some of her own tunes, not another tired remake. Hated bleeding love, was screechy and boring IMHO..

people who write and perform their own music are true "artists" for me but you cant take it away from her that shes an absolutely incredible singer. the live performance on x factor a few weeks back was imo utterly astounding, theres not many that can sound like they are in a studio when they are live.

What the hell are you on?!?!?! How many karaoke singers have you seen and heard that can sing as controlled in the high register as Leona does? No point being ignorant about it, give credit when its most deffo deserved!

not usually into her sort of music, but i really liked her cover of run and her last song was alright too.

I like her, think its about time we got a UK artist as good as the likes of Mariah, whitney etc etc
The version of RUN is amazing and should stay number 1, although i prefere the live lounge version!
She can anly get better, but i hope she stays normal and not a Diva with 100 ontarage! LOL
