I'm a student, with a timetable consisting of 6/7 hours a week
£3,145 for a years tuition fees, for 6 hours a week teaching
There's obviously work to be done outside of that time, but still!
When I worked for Severn Trent Water, the hours were...
Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4pm, or 7.30am to 3.30pm (with half an hour lunch)
and Friday - 8am to 3.30pm, or 7.30am to 3pm (again, with half an hour lunch)

10K+ Poster!!
I do 8-4 and 5 days a week as standard.
I work for the same company as I did last year (after leaving them thinking I was over worked ). I was a Project Foreman then.
I can do anywhere from 40-120 hours a week, which is a fucking burden to say the least sometimes as it plays havoc with my social life . For the first time in my life I now earn a six figure number which is mega great but I wonder if its really worth it!

But the year's only 24 weeks
I suppose when looking it like that though, £22 for an hours teaching is pretty good
Scary to think how much the university is pulling in, when there's over a hundred people in a single lecture...all paying there £22 for that hour

I used to own my own mondeo but it blew up.
I have to pay £253 a week as settle all in(radio, car, ins) while i try to get money together for another car. ( I will not get into debt for my job. It's not worth it)
The taxi trade down here mate is on it's arse atm. No-one has any money to blow on us. Also there is a shitload of us out on the roads, which means jobs are spread thinly.
The company I work for are starting to get on my tits. They don't advertise at all. There is one big fuck off company in Liverpool called Delta and they have like 1500 cars but there is work spread all over Liverpool not like us. They advertise everywhere as well. Everyone in Liverpool has heard of them. The company I work for are their main rivals in the main areas which we operate in. The two companies used to be fairly level but since the bosses changed the taxi systems, Delta has expanded big time in terms of drivers and more importantly jobs and we have stagnated. Guess where I shall be going in the new year.
I'm lucky if I pocket £450 profit atm.
When I first started 5 years ago. If I worked these hours I could easily top £750 profit.
It's fucking wank and I am properly pissed with it all now.
