standard airbox or cone?
does the standard airbox decrease bhp over using a cone filter?
The way i see it is the cone will get more air in but could be hotter air over the std airbox BUT having said that surely its down to how good the intercooler is at cooling?
So cone best?

If you can get a decent and good airfeed to an airbox, the airbox is better imo.
Filters are good, but depends where they are.

Drill your airbox and put a K&N panel filter in. best of both worlds then.

Standard airbox (enlarged entry) will do 500bhp.. Not sure exactly where it becomes too much of a restriction though.

It varies from car to car. The test we did on a Mondeo V6 demonstrated that a Pipercross Vector-style enclosed air filter works best - i.e. reduces heat soak the most.

It will only decrease BHP at the point it starts struggling for airflow, I doubt you will reach that point on a T34 Phil.

At your power level, standard airbox over a cone. Cones are for retarded people
