Mondeo Brake Disc's?
I went to order new disc's for my 2001 mondeo and was asked was there steel or alloy wheels fitted?
Anyone know what the difference in the discs are depending on the wheels fitted?
Thanks

Ford Microcat does lists 2 discs, 1 for steel 1 for alloy.
Callipers are the same through all years and wheel type.
The simple answer to the question would be "What wheels DO you have"
Did they quote the price?

iirc its something to do with the material used for the metal, the 'alloy wheel' versions were easier on the wheels......
we only ever sold the ones for steel wheels.

Hubs are all the same unless it's a diesel (bigger bearing? probably) so it can only be a minor difference.
