idle control valve maybe, think you can get some spray to decarbon it, clean it out.

Someone will be able to point out where it is and what to do exactly mate. Should be a cheap fix

on your inlet where it says efi on the top. to the right hand side of it there is a valve with a pipe coming off it remove the valve by taking the pipe off and unscrewing the 2 bolts (8mm i think) and go down halfords and buy some carb cleaner spray into the 2 holes and leave to soke for a few mins should work a treet.but dont lost the gasket lol good luck

any air leak behind your throttle, ie manifold gasket, pipe off etc, will induce air into the manifold and increase idle, just like opening the throttle does, worth a look

I'd agree with that as I had a split inlet manifold gasket that did exactly that.
