M3 again Jim, 200sx will be a money pit as you will want 300bhp+ to be happy with it.

We have just got home, and now worries at all about driving you two home! I dont pay for fuel in my ickle car so it wasnt exactly an inconvenience!

I just hope you are both ok, and im sure it will all be resolved soon!

Oh and Jim - dont listen to Lee about the Audi.... stick with the M3!

Was speaking to a mate earlier who said he had been behind you for a while just before this happened, he was driving a red Volvo 850R slightly modified ! he said he felt sorry for you as the car was going well all day. Mentioned he had a few moments as well.

I' m looking into trackday insurance as i don't want to risk my M3 evo on track anymore without some sort of cover.

the track is VERY slippery VERY VERY VERY slippery, coupled with the fact that trax track sessions are full of HEROES i would make sure you take it VERY easy out there mate.

tyres were top quality brand new road tyres. wasn't driver "error" as such, lack of tallent stopped paul from being able to correct the slide, but to be fair 99% of us would have done the same (me included). but it wasnt necessarily the cause

Combination im sure, no matter how slippy a track if is you drive it steady enough you wont have an off, so its always down to driver error too.

When I binned my car at the ring, the tyres were fuck and totally lost grip, but it was a driver error to still drive hard on tyres that were gripping less.

So its the same thing here Id imagine.

I struggled like fuck at ford fair a month or so ago. As soon as I saw more than 5 lb of boost it was sliding out of corners, and was spinning up down the straight over the start finish on the painted white ligns!

the circuit consists of standing puddles of water that are all the pretty colours of the ranbow

i was taking the corners at about 40ish mph? and still sliding all the way round my advise would be turn the boost right down and go REALLY slow, just got for a nice sightseeing drive

mate has 440 ish bhp in his evo. and that was lighting up all 4 out of all the corners mate, 4 wheels drifitng everywhere.

my car at probably 185-ish bhp was wheelspinning Everytime you press the throttle in 3rd gear down the straights

BUT they are gonna use the full GP circuit tomorrow not the national circuit used today... still has some of the same parts though!!

feel for you both with that situation but its being sorted and both party's are happy with that so thats the main thing, my m3 wont be going on track without insurance thats for sure as its £200-£300 well spent if something like this was to happen as i aint got another 18k to buy a new 1
