How come when people dive they could get say, for example.
8.0 8.5 8.0 8.0 9.0 8.5 8.0
Yet only the ones in bold count? Why?

Presume it's the same as most sports where there are a bunch of judges - They take off the highest, and lowest scores to avoid biased judging.
