I take it you've tried giving the tray a good push back home? Maybe give the tray slot a good blast with a hairdryer in case there is any moisture on a contact...

Failing that, try Rab's suggestion

hi mate i work for hotpoint,is it a ctd model?the float on the back will be either stuck up,or the pump has failed so its full of water,if its a tdc thn there a black drain plug on the back,any help gimmie a shout

right ok on the back theres a water trap with 2 pipes coming out,see if its full of water,if it is,get it out,run it and see if the pump is running,if it aint,gimmie ur addy and ill post one out for ya,they can be intermittent tho,sometimes the wires trap the metal part of the float at the top,so it might just need a tap to stick it back to normal,let me know...
