seriously thinking of selling my cossie!!spent a small fortune on her recently headgasket etc!uprated rad,grp A fuel pump+rewire, alcon clutch etc!!!took her yesterday to the first ever show!missed the parade lap!on the way home started to smell anti freeze had a quick look tonight and it looks like the coolant feed pipe to the turbo has factured this is the second time this has happened!replaced the pipe 4 years ago!its not cheap!going to take the turbo off tomorrow to have a closer look! Also started getting a noise from the engine whine noise which gets louder as you build the revs!think it either the water pump or cambelt tensioner both of which are brand new! The car is pushing my to the limits!!I really dont know why i bother doing the h/g!i should of sold or broke her

Keep going mate, we went through a phase like this a couple of yrs back, everything went wrong basically, for a good 6-9months+, got through it, and its been faultless since touch wood
If it helps, the car looked stunning yesterday, after Gaz had worked his magic on the car
Also had to do that turbo pipe, was about £20 from Paul @ North Yorks

mine is virtually identical to yours in looks and in spec; mine gets picked up on saturday
although mine hasnt gone wrong; i've just got too much money tied up in it!
Are you talking about the pipe that runs along the top of the cam pulleys? thought they were cheap as chips; paid £30 for mine

i think these car are better if used, when sitting in a garage you do everthing the car needs clean it get it looking as you want it and the one time you want to use it, it cocks up but especially at the moment cars arent selling to well so why let someone reap the bennefit of your hard work id keep it, all part of owning these cars.

Doug,
Cheaper option is to bypass the turbo all together wit the coolent pipes !! Much cheaper & not needed if you warm up & cool the motor off properly !! They was only there to warm the turbo up anyways !!
I never run coolent through my T35 for 3 years, never had a problem !!
Know the feelin tho, when I first built mine I drove it 3 times & the engine let go !! After 2 months building it from scratch, I wasn't impressed to say the least, then this engine came up from Phil @ perfect timing !!
Keep wit it, where bouts in London are ya ?? If you need any help jus give us a shout !! Saves you gettin stressed wit it & gets it back on the road !!
Is it 2 or 4wd ??

Give yourself a slap.
Water pipes, idler and pump? These things wear out on any and all cars.
You could buy another car and have the pump or pulley die on it, its nothing to be depressed about. Be glad these are the only problems!
Also, the bearings in a waterpump (and alt for that matter) can wear out prematurely if the belts are done up too tight.
