"Heard" and "reality" are very different. Quality isnt as good, but going by ones ive played with and friends have used, I wouldnt say its 4-5 times worse like the prices would suggest, not even twice as bad.
Their Supra is the first Jap powered car in the 7s down the quarter in Europe, so their stuff cant be that shit can it

Depends how you look at it. If you are spunking aload cash on an engine why go half mesures on the turbo. personaly i wouldnt do it but each to there own.
The money you might have to spent on a custom downpipe would be better spent on a better turbo imo.

Yead i know its a bit hard when trying to get a turbo that the ford guys dont reguarly use
but jdm performance do real ones and at good prices here is the link http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/univ...ubID=333000319 and if you really want a v band outlet without paying stupid prices get someone like lee from fusion to weld a vband onto the exhaust housing lots of honda guys do it and have no issues just use a mild steel one for safety honda-tech.com is down so search the site later on for v band in the welding and fabrication and make sure you put the dot in the archive section so you bring up old posts also check atpturbo.com as this will tell you the compressor inlet and outlet so you can get the right boose hoses
hope that helps

The turbo COMES with that type of fitting if that pic is to be believed! Then you cut the standard flange off your car off, and weld that one on.
Look inside the clamp in the pic, the other bit of the v-band thing is there by looks of it.
To get one yourself youd have to know what size it is too, as v-bands come in all kinds of sizes.
Not sure if any stock car comes with em tho, usually seen on larger applications, and of course modded cars.
