You are what you eat!
Just watched the film 'Supersize me' and was pretty shocked to see the results of eating McDonalds three times a day for a month!!
It got me thinking about my diet and how I need to change it, so how would you rate your diet out of 10??
I'd say mine is probably a 2/10 in that I don't get much (if any!) fresh fruit/veg and most of my meals are microwave ready meals unless i'm eating out!! But on the plus side I don't eat much chocolate anymore and not too many bags of crisps etc. And drink juice instead of coke these days too!
I think i'll go shopping tomorrow for some healthy options!

I'd say 8/10 for me, as follows a typical day
7am bowl porridge and pint of water
830 two rounds of toast with peanut butter(dry as fook) and lots of water
1030 tin of tuna, water
1200 Grilled chicken with boiled rice and tin of kidney beans, water
1400 jacket tatty with tuna and sweetcorn, water
1630 Might deviate and have choccy bar
1800 Steak and boiled tatty and veg
and during the course of the day a mixed bag of nuts and raisins
2000 weetabix x2, more water
Some where inbetween there take a dump
Ste (BTW I,m 5'7 and 160 lb)

My diet used to be really bad but I'm trying to improve it. Too many microwaves meals and cakes and not enough fruit & veg is my problem. Although on the plus side I dont eat much fried food and dont drink full sugar fizzy drinks. No one drinks ale out here either.

It's a good watch, the results of his 'experiment' are pretty much common sense, but some of the facts and other info about peoples diets in general are a real eye opener!

Nah it's not like that at all!!! There's nothing much about the contents of the McDonalds (although they have a moan about the processed chicken), it's just about what happens if you eat it 3 times a day (fast food in general) for a month and go super-size whenever they ask!
And some guy who calls himself a Big Mac enthusiast and eats around 700 a year (2 a day). They had a party for his 14,000th Big Mac or something like that.. Sad!!!

The bits that really gets you, in America obesity is the second biggest preventable killer only to smoking, and it's catching it up fast!!!
Now at a meal/work lunch etc, you have no problem giving smokers a bit of banter for what they do to themselves, but would you dare tell someone who's obese to sort their life out and give up food??!
Because when you think about it, eating junk food is just the same as smoking in many ways (only without the passive effects obviously!)

I can't escape from eating shit but I don't do it as much now. But sometimes I'm well hungry in the middle of town and McD's is just way easier, but everytime I go there I do so knowing I'm gonna be cursing myself for eating that shit afterwards and I do so everytime without fail!
