Tell me about it. Have just been Southend and we were all watching it come over. Amazing lightning all the way back as well. Very rare to see that much forked lightning and most of it was hitting the ground.

Thunder was earlier on during the night, i stood out in the rain just looking up at the sky for just over 20 mins at the height of it all...

Can't believe you had no rain, it absolutly chucked it down here - almost like a cloud burst! Proper hard rain for at least 45mins or so.

Im in Southend and its been pissing down for atleast an hour luckly got back within about 10mins but was hammering down, tele wont go on now
