Anyone have a mk4 golf?
I'm trying to find out what this is called:
I'm having trouble with my fan not working, when i checked this, one of the metal strips has snapped and when i join it together it sparks

I know the 3 green's are fuses, but i thought there might be another name for the metal strips as they are branching out to different sircuits

Has car got air con ?
If it has, check the twin fan control unit
It may have suffered water ingress and thats why the "Fusible Link" has blown
Other than that the cooling fan/s or air con compressor may have seized or become tight
