Default Anyone have a mk4 golf?

I'm trying to find out what this is called:



I'm having trouble with my fan not working, when i checked this, one of the metal strips has snapped and when i join it together it sparks

cant remember off top off my head i know it stopped my air con workin last year so i cleaned it and hey presto!

I know the 3 green's are fuses, but i thought there might be another name for the metal strips as they are branching out to different sircuits

if it sparks, it being short ut somewhere else, and that "fuse" is stopping you car catch fire

Has car got air con ?

If it has, check the twin fan control unit

It may have suffered water ingress and thats why the "Fusible Link" has blown

Other than that the cooling fan/s or air con compressor may have seized or become tight
