hi guys,fitted a moutney steering wheel with the correct hub a couple of days ago.

the hub seems to scrape on the cowling that surronds the colum etc, also noticed that it dnst lock into the steering lock when i pull the key out,

morover, there seems to be a bit of play in the steering column!!

help! whats going on?!

i put one on my mk5 rs2000 did the same so i took it off and put it in the bin (im not very patiant)

just dnt get why im getting play?! the bit about it catching i can deal with by cutting the cowling if need, but its doesnt seem nessecairy.

im wondering if something has slipped, making play in the shaft?

the car is a mk3 fiesta!
