occasionally its a random victim that gets stabbed.more often its other gang members so i say put all the gang member together in an arena with all the weapons they wish and let them fight to the death . last man standing can claim the title of toughest gang member whilst the streets and innocents are spared having to put up with these scum.
the bbc could televise the event in a national rounds, popstars type competition .

Taking them to see victims is a joke, something like 200 hours comm service for being cought with a knife, second time straight to jail. I know it would overcrowd them so build another ficking prison without the playstations to keep costs down. Pricks.

Bring back national service!!!!.
If you dont go to uni, you can either go do national service for 1 year or do a comuntiy based job. i.e help the aged etc.
It would teach these yobs discipline. they do this in germany and poland and it seems to work.
Carry a knife, 5 years inside. simple. no ifs, no buts.

in 99% of the cases its all gang related had 3 in Sheffield this week and 1 shooting all to do with the same group of people, while ever there killing each other and not innocent people leave them to it imo

Death penalty for guilty of stabbings. If found in possession of knives/blades/guns/offensive weapons then jail and all their mates as well all in a big room and each in turn getting bummed up the arse 8 times a day for the rest of their lives.

Tougher punishment is needed for all crimes in this country...and it aint ever gonna happen as the PC brigade run it!

Name and shame them. Also make them do highly visable work in public with their crime printed on bright organe suits etc.
Trouble is the current punishment does not put people off. We need more naming and shaming in this country. If you made these big "hard" people do really meaningless tasks in bright orange suits then maybe they would take some of the "glamour" out of getting caught and sent down etc.
Tis a hard one. IMO its a society change too.

think the point is HOW can you prevent this happening in the first place
dealing with it afterwards isnt dealing with the problem,, prison should not be looked at as a punsihment but rehab for people who lost there way IMO
education of what can happen is better imo,, taking small kids to see the victims of the crimes bodys and see what could happen to them MAY help some of em to rethink carrying them or using them
people do what they are trained to hence we have soldiers who where bullied at school and become trained killers
teach them the result BEFORE they do the crime is the best way and it seem shocking them might be the answer
dealing with it afterwards isnt dealing with the problem,, prison should not be looked at as a punsihment but rehab for people who lost there way IMO
education of what can happen is better imo,, taking small kids to see the victims of the crimes bodys and see what could happen to them MAY help some of em to rethink carrying them or using them

I agree with Rhys on this one - public humiliation is the only way it will stop.
Incidently my mates neighbour was stabbed at his front door a few weeks ago, he was mistaken for the person who used to own the house - "luckily" he only got his head slashed. Pretty sickening all the same.

ps: ive been stabbed twice and all my mates have been at least stabbed once due to issues,,, my best mate was stabbed over 30 times and had a punctured lung from a person he had a fist fight with and beat up over a girl of all fucking things,,,, the bloke jumped him a few hours later and almost killed him
hes cousin was SHOT AND MURDERED over a arguement,,,,, they are/where quite handy with fighting though hence the even up

5 years hard labour in rough conditions,not cushy hotels ,for carry blades and life, meaning life for murder with no parole. if there isnt enough prison spaces build more.

cant help but think that people dont want to settle it any other way any more, i used to be a right little c**t when i was younger and the best way to sort it was a good old punch up..............not a blade, if u know the only way u will end it is with a blade and not your fists....dont be a mouthy little prick

Caught with a knife then your banged up, simple, but the state of the UK prisons that aint going to happen due to the overcrowding problem.

I work in a South London college, and hate it, 2 of our students have been murdered this year alone, I sit at work wondering when it is going to spill into the college. We have these airport style security checks that are done over the college term maybe up to 10 times, i think they should have one permanently.

i couldn't give a shit for all the gang stuff if im honest i know the story and the reasons behind the 3 stabbings and the shooting in sheffield this week and its quite pathetic

IMO caught with a knife do a nice stretch ie 10 years + im sure anyone in a gang would take the risk of 1 year inside wich would result in what 6 months or something?
