You can't just change a box and magically improve how a car accelerates etc. It's just not how it works.

No it woul be a complete fooking fluke. Different cars have different boxes designed to make the best of the power and torque curve available. If you suddenly wang a box from another engine on will it have the same power and torque curve? Probably not
