If your heart was really set on a cossie, you wouldnt even consider a t5.

ive never owned one but would the volvo be as smile enducing as a cossie when pushed hard? more power as standard but a big heavy bus to push around. it sounds like youve already made up your mind on the volvo for its everyday reliability.tbh for an everyday car id probably go for the t5 as well but the old boxy shape one.

the cossie delivers its power more snappy if you like here the volvo delivers it smooth and steady.t5s are very reliable.
i raced a guy whose 4+4 saph was supposidly 350hp t34,greens,big cooler etc and my stock t5 running a 305 remap and bigger exhaust outran him on the tight and twisty roads which we both knew until the longest of straights where hed catch up.he couldnt believe it could pull from him.

however as stated if its a cossie you want you wont consider the t5.
a cossie is raw and fun not knowing if youl make it home lol.

Volvo's are lovely cars, having to sell ours due to lack of space, I'll be gutted when it goes.
