mmm 125bhp, prety strong lump tho, can abuse it without worry, and if it does break you can get a replacement of ebay fo 19quid! i did once

As said twinky lump 8 valve, broke a GT last year, 3 owners from new but rotten was a twinky in it, good engine but hard/expensive to tune, about as far away from cosworth as you can get!!

some people say that it makes more power than the standard engine, but seing as the gt was the run out model and should have had a cat bolted to it, it would have made 120 brake rather than the 125 brake of the non cat engines, but some "massaging" of the figures means than some people think it's got 128 brake

but it's not

not saying that you can't bolt the cat enigne into a non cat car as all the changes are electronic rather than engine related as the blocks are the same, as are the ehads and all sorts

unlike the ford 12V V6's that had hydraulic tappets in their cat versions and solids in the non cat ones
