Question how long will it take to fit a clifford alarm?

im having my clifford g5 650 concept mk2 fitted to my fiesta rs turbo tomorrow, it has an immobiliser now so i have asked for that to be removed aswell, i will be keeping a carefull eye on how long he takes so that it is not rushed and im taking the doorcards off myself to inspect some of the wiring up!

Will take a fair amount of time, possibly a day, but could be bought down to around half a day if he does it day in day out

Get a laptop and a cable on it afterwards, and check the only remotes issued to it, are the ones you have!

It all depends on how well it is fitted A fitter in a rush could probably do it in 2 or 3 hours but i would not want that on my car.
When i had my alarm fitted on my cosworth,a friend of mine who fits alarms day in,day out did the job and it took him two evenings totalling 8 hours.
The job he did was superb, interior and dash out,all alarms and modules bolted to bulkhead, all wires wrapped like factory, every joint soldered etc etc
He wanted Ł50 to fit it but i gave him Ł80
This was a Toad Ai606 with text alert, the only make of alarm he fits as he has never had a fault with Toad.

regards mark

well 5 hours isnt far off 8 is it, plus they were just giving you a rough estimate.

Also if something isnt right you can just take it back and get them to sort it, hopefully you wont have to if they fit it properly
