you can get alot of the same games but load a hell of alot quicker.

xbox imo is a gazillion times better than ps2.

bit gutted i sold my ps2 though as that san andreas games out now.... might have to get one for that....

There are also loads of different chips available, but some are obviosly a lot better then others, before you get one make sure it is compatible with your xbox version (use serial number to find this) then get it installed. This is easy as long ass you have the right tools and very small fingers :)

Yes you can get chips that turn off but mine fryed its self so its off all the time now or I just get a blue screen :roll:

I payed £150 for mine, pre chipped with xecutor2 chip. thousands of games pre installed on emulators for SNES, Megadrive, N64, Arcade machines :top:


I also have a mate at work who downloads the games from Bit-torrent and does me a copy for a blank DVD :top: :banana: .

He has just got a very cool game not released until NOV 11th ;) should be getting a copy on Monday :top:

LOL @ Pentium 3 light years ahead of what the PS2 has. Fully 128bit CPU vs old shonky 32bit Pentium. Only advantages XBOX has is the GFX chip nvidia made and the larger memory...thats why GTA dosn't need loading screens.

HALO is one of the most overated games i've ever ever played, as a single player game its mediorce at best and as multiplayer its only got 2 half decent maps!

Played far far better FPS even before HALO was released.

Dosn't matter anyways, Sony have walked this console war AGAIN.

ADUSR32 - Maybe it is just my opinion, but i tend to think that all XBOX owners just say its awesome because at the time of release they had no decent games at all and it was so hyped up that everyone would just end up saying it was quality even if it was crap :clap:

Basically my last week has gone like this
Split up with the g/f, go buy x box, and halo - play, and complete halo, and then have mutileplayer games with my mates, in between work, and going to the pub!
We had an 8 player jobbie going on last night, till 3 am - im still trying to hang on to my student bum days!

simple fact is they are both pretty much identicle - what makes one good is the games. I have a ps2 only for gran turismo.
