help please mk 5 turbo
my mate has a mk 5 cabby turbo cvh the gear box has broke will a rs 2000 gearbox go in it says in the spec sheet for the car that it has a mtx75 one in witch is a rs 2000 one how do i know if it is one any help please
here is the car some one off here used to own it

If it has a IB5 in the car why not get a ib5 rebuilt with an rst lsd fitted.
To fit a MTx75 Gearbox in that car if it has a ib5 you will need to change the subframe, driveshafts hubs, gearbox mounts and then use a zetec mtx75 clutch.
So lots of work. best bet is to just fit a ib5.
