Hello,
i need a 2.5ohm ballest resistor,
but dont know what cars where fitted with one,
nor can local part factors help.
can anyone help?

Its not exactly what you specified but it will do the job you want nicely.
(I assume you want to ballast a coil or injectors !)

Not sure, its to up my coil resistance from 0.6 ohm's to around 3.0 ohms.

Danny, that will be perfect in that case, doesnt have to be exact as the wiring will drop a few tenths of ohms nicely anyway.

Doug, no it wont be no use to me, cheers tho.
i have been running it with a 1.5ohm resistor, but the EMS 5 is getting alittle hot, even tho the tech guy @ micro dynamics said it would be ok at 2.1ohm's, it was designed for 3.0ohm's so just want to get it nearer that.
