Has anyone ever built an orion and made it look exactly like a series 1 rs turbo ?????

Got to love the old Orions. A bit pissed that i let one go about 5 year ago,could have been mine for nothing, a mk1 too but no one wanted them.

now there rare as and cost a fair bit for mk1s!!looks the nuts as a s1 tho

Thats what im about. It was my mates Dads and sat down the yard at Buildbase for about a year but i wasnt intrested. Now id snap it up.

sorta...................was thinking of one that had the same blue strips down the side bumpers whith overriders etc.

have to agree kinda with Will, that orion up posted up looks nothing like a S1

if your gonna do it, then atleast do it properly

I had a series one cabbie, and I had it painted in sierra Azura blue, this was in 1999, and in its day it looked the part used to love taking it to southend.

It had the chrome mondeo 16's on it and an S1 engine. I miss that car, always got the looks.

^^^ thats funny, back in 1999 I had a serie1 rep based on a xr3i running a 1.8zvh I'd built....also sat on chrome mondeo 16's Never did southend in it but it was well known around Notts back in the day.

Here's a pic of mine...only pic ive got and its bloody filthy Sorry for poor quality, its a photo of a photo...also the black around the side glass was painted white by the time i'd finished with it. The dents in the bonnet etc are dents in the photo its self...the car was actualy quite mint.

Wheels used to look mint at nite down town when the lights caught them
