If I get the lexus ok on saturday, I might see if I can arrange a mortgage and do the round trip in that, 200 miles shouldnt feel so far in leather clad luxury, lol

spotted a small mistake in that it's actually junction 11 for the A33 peeps
you'll get lost coming off at junction 12 and looking for it
but if you are feeling brave then come down the A34 all the way till you can get onto the A339 into basingstoke and the follow the signs for the A33
you'll never guess who's been to that part of the world today

I have been once before but iirc I went up the M3 and picked up the A33 could anyone advise on this please

From the M3, just come off at junction 6, round the round about back under the motorway and along the dual carriageway.
Then just follow along the dualy (which becomes the ring road) over the next roundabout, and then take about the 3rd or so exit signposted reading, just follow along that road for a few miles and its on your right, clearly sign posted
