not a clue what times i have done, just have immense fun going round it in the 3dr.

Cant wait to go back with the better suspension and brakes, then can push it a lot harder.

hi steve

in all fairness , i shouldn't even make a comment about people lap times atleast they have been there and had a ago.

Me personally i have never driven the ring , i know it's an awesome track and maybe the best in the world

Jc has offerd me to go over loads of times now and still turn the offer down due to money/car issues

me personally im not botherd about lap times really , just being apart of it and just to drive the track to say i have been is good enough for me

i have driven on alot of different tracks but i know none of them compair to the ring

hopefully next yr i will be taking my 3dr over with jc and have ago

it's every petrol heads dream kind of thing

it is not cheap to go these days marco, but i would suggest that you forego 5 uk trackdays to save up and do it. i think that the pleasure that you would get from a 'ring trip would be more than equal to 5 uk track days

Must say, I sometimes have problems believing some peoples lap times, not saying necessarily anyone on this bb. I wonder if people are actually timing BTG from the bridge at the start of Fuschore!

On this trip I heard some Brit bikers say what awesome fun they'd just had on their first trip, and it took them 18mins to do a lap! From memory thats what my first trip was like "where the fuck are we now!!?!?!"

I'm hanging around like a bad smell mate! Hoping to make a couple of trips this year in the Autumn. Currently have a 330d, but a new job and a fuel card means that something petrol powered may be on the agenda. Maybe 335i or even another M3. Watch this space......

When are you next out there?

some of you lot wanna use this

to wipe ur mouth before talkin bout laptimes.

jc shuld generally use it before starting any sentence. and playstation laps in ur visionracer dont count, as i never see you going round more than 2ce a day when im there.

leer21 has got all our vids from our last trip, including following me on my car and memory warm up lap in the golf. mid9 that was i think.

an a little tip for novices and experts a like looking for the perfect line, when driving round and approching a bend look for a white dot on the outside of the bend, that is your turning in point, then focus on teh apex on the inside and find another dot, thast your apex point. connect them 2 points by adjusting the corner radius with that round thing in front of u and it shalf ur rent at gettin thru them bends quick.
but watch out some of the turn in points are halfway thru the bends and you have to stop youself from turning in early.

get the entry into fuschroehre right you can do a staright run clipping the apex a bit hitting the bottom at 125mph (flat out on a 2.0 8v) sampling ur brekki again hehehe

and never mind keeping up with the poncy ring taxi, once u keep up with teh viper u cracked it.

if you know the place so well, why can't you call places by their proper names? show the place and it's history some respect, please don't chav it up

self proclaimed drivin god, use german names 4 the track an not sum homemade gibberish.

keepin up with the viper today r we?
u change the cars u keep up with or r faster than more often than ur undies haha.
last time u were drivin circles around full breed gt3 racers in ur scoob.

not 2 sure bout the shikane bit as it quite simply got away from all the fancy stuff in the twisty sections. might only do 120, but it does them nearly evrywere.
dont worry got a 260hp g60 goin in soon, then we r talkin.

oh yeah i openly admit to my 12 min lap. i was driving this

its a nickname people give places that lets everyone else understand where things are

science and history are not fun for everyone, the ring is about enjoying cars more than the history of the place as im sure it is to most people

@ gallaby
thats exactly what i would suggest. slow car gentle cruise an just ave a look around.

breidscheid(adenau bridge) is a bit tricky 2 spot i admit, but a relatively easy corner anyway. 5th to 4th lift off 4 a sec an turn left thru the dip up the hill in2 3rd turn right an always pttm

i know it's a nickname, but it's cringeworthy. can't brits abroad bother to learn anything about where they are and show some respect?
