Always makes me laugh when people put things like "secret spec cams" and "WRC this" and "touring car spec that" in their spec lists to make their cars sound even more special.

There were a couple of classics in this months Fast Ford mag.

The very powerful white 3dr had "Focus WRC spec cams".

Now i'm no rally nerd but i'm pretty sure the WRC focus didn't have a YB in it! So only other option is copying the zetec grind onto some YB cams but why would you want to copy a cam designed to run a wide spread of torque with a 34 mm restrictor for a high power YB??

The white ABC 2wd escort cos had a "T4 derived roller roller bearing ceramic core GT30".

Well make your bloody mind up. I guess its a "special" T4 .

cams/engine work: the owner doesnt actually know, he just paid the money and asked for it to go fast.

EDIT: the other one i find funny is
'never been passed on track' or 'very little gets passed me'

then you see it round the track getting pissed on by just about everything. lol

its the ones that put "secret custom part" "one of custom colour" but dont disclose what it actually is .they must think its a major secret and everyone and their dog is just waiting to copy them.

Enhanced Performance

The spec of the turbo on our escoz is no secret....It is a t4 rear housing , internal waist gate etc. gt30 core and compressor . hence how stated in fast ford.....could have been listed in different ways but all lead to the same conclusion .. Its a bit t4 and a bit gt30 lol
