you dont need to change the lnb unless you have more than just the sky+ and one multi-room box, there'll be another ouptut on the lnb for the, so 2 for each of the sky+
just call sky and give them the box details and they'll switch on the recording!

yes, they charge if you are going to use multi room
another tenner
they'll also ask to make the card you are using first the main card and the second one they'll send out the secondary one
plus you'll need phone lines in or sometimes you willget a letter saying you need to pay more money or some shit

No charge for activating the box, and no, they dont bother about doing it, people do it all the time. They won't need to alter which card is primary/secondary either
If you have multi-room, part of the terms & conditions of that is to have both boxes connected to the phone line - you WILL get charged full price for 2 subscriptions (instead of the second for £10 a month). This doesnt happen straight away, but you will get warning letters to sort it out. If you think you've sorted it - PHONE THEM TO CHECK! Don't just assume it's sorted, cos there can be loads of different reasons it's not working.
You can set up your PIN number to be activated any time someone tries to connect online:
1. Press Services
2. Got to option 3 "Parental Control"
3. Put your PIN number in
4. Go to "Other Restrictions"
5. The first option there is "PIN entry before going online". Change that to "On" by pressing left or right arrow key.
6. Save new settings
Hope this helps
