Default which tyres for 18"s? recommended

I need a set of 4x tyres for 7.5" x 18s. what tyres have you used and can reccommend me and which should I avoid, they need to grip well as they are the only thing that attaches my car to the road- and last if thats possible in 1x tyre?

edit: its a 2wd sapphire tyres for the road cheers

Got Yoko Paradas on mine at the moment - they seem ok, but I will be going to R888's on 17's as it only comes out in nice weather anyway!

Dont fuck about with Parada's, in this country with the rain we get they are crap!

I've got Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's mate, 215/35/18's on my 2wd Saph, I push them pretty hard in the wet and they won't let go very easily at all! Safe to say in the dry I have total confidence in them!

Buy from www.mytyres.co.uk Ł96 per tyre inc VAT and Del., can't beat that mate!

I like the Continentals, but I had Pirellis on my last Escort Cossie too and they were okay, soon wear down on the front though.

i think with prada's you paying for the pretty pattern.

i would go for something else personally.

if its a road car, get a road tyre, wouldnt bother with 888's either.
