Red face help fitting an rs2000 in to a mk3 fiesta

Hi there all you ford fans can any one help me im looking in to fitting an rs2000 engine in to my 1.1 fiesta mk3.5 has any one done this?? i need to no if i have to cut away things or move the brake servo or make an extra engine mount please help thank you for looking

my mate has done this to his fiesta mk3.5 it was a lot of work but worth it in the end, very func car and it is up for sale soon... i will gat sone pics up

seen this done on a mk4 escort which was a really tight squeeze, needed longer bolts with washer's on to go through the subframe which lowered it enough to get the engine in and bonnet to close also the passenger side suspension turret needed gently persuasion with a hammer to give the cam cove enough clearence. not sure about a fez though mate

im guessing cos its different. the rs2k i4 lump is a great engine. 150ps standard, slightly heavier than zetecs so should help out with getting the power down through the front wheels aswell.

fair play, just wondered. would have thought zetec would be the way to go though..

i have done it. an noddy-s helped an it took a long time but that was my fault for being lazy but now its done i thinks its awsum! if u want pics of my bay just let me know. or any ideas on what i done.

imo, apart from the badboy bonnet, that looks spot on!

thatlooks great was it hard fitting it? did you have to lower the subframe at all? bet it goes like stink

i had to lower the gear box cradle a bit an squeeze the engine in an move the servo over a bit an abuse the original engine mount
an it does go well! if i do say so myself. if any 1 wants more pics let me know

Default ERST what cars have u left for dust?

Just set my fiesta up with an erst engine just wan2 c if it will be as good as im hoping cos its been a rite to get it all sorted
