Default Who are the mountain bikers on here?

Just swapped over my frames for anyone interested! Used to have a Kona 'King Kikapu' full sus, but just put everything onto my Orange 'Mis-ile',

Awesome frame anyay, cost me a mint years ago, and its taken best part of 3 years to built it up

Its got: Marzocchi bombers, Hope 4 pots (Hydraulic for those that done know) Mavic 321 rims, Hope hubs etc, Really good ride back from my mates after swapping it all over, but fuck me with a broken hand its hard

Beats driving that shed of a car I own..................

I purchased this in January.CANNONDALE F8OO LEFTY.

Lovley bike and rides mint considering it,s only got 1 fork

Didn,t like the colour so stripped it down and took it to work

2 pac repaint in FOCUS ST ORANGE and some new decals ,it now looks like this.

Just waiting for my forks to be reconditioned which cost Ł160.
A new set of lefty dlr forks are Ł660.
I thought bits for my RS were expensive.
Should be ready in a couple of weeks

thats the weirdest stem on the orange at the top lol i was a dj-er skate park nd street rider over the last couple of years but not had the time and lack of any decent stuff locally makes it hard for me to get motivated and go ride. stil do every now and then so still got my bike. but really getting into cars with my saturday job and plan is to sell my bike to get money towards my first car.
My bike is : DMR rhythm frame (black 06) marzocchi DJ2's (03) DMR DeeVee wheels, hayes sole hydros, truvativ hussefelt cranks and howitzer bb, DMR chain device and 8 speed rear mech, maxxis holy rollers, DMR wingbars and atomlab G.I stem. think thats everything

I'm more a dirty BMXer too. Got myself a new frame over the weekend too.

I do like 24" dirtjumping/street MTBs though.

Really! - where were you staying?
We stay at the little cottage just off of the low level cyale way halfway between "the wall" and "skyline / whytes" - there is a B and B next door!
Think we're heading back in November - we've been there twice a year for the last couple of years! - you may have seen our group - 4 of us on Yeti's, 3 on white buggers, whilst mine is black!

I was on a big hit 3 with matt black full face and a blue top with 75 and THORPE on the back

Couple of nice DH / Freeride bikes there.

I am more into X-Country racing. Couple of years I did a bit of competition but hurt my knee badly. Haven't ridden it for over 1,5 years. As soon as my car is back on the road I am starting training again.
I ride a upgraded Giant XtC840
Fully XT fitted, 28 speed
Eaton hardware
Ultralight Selle Royale saddle
MAVIC crossmax rims
RockShox Recon with lockout frontfork
Schwalbe tyres (all sorts, depending on conditions, favo is Racing Ralph though)
Here is a piccie, the MAVICs aren't on it yet, old piccie
Front wheel and fork:

Those Shimano XT 4 pots disc brakes are the dogs danglies!
rest:

Had a serious case of chainsuck with the original Shimano Xt gears so I fitted these:

No chainsuck anymore!

Not really too impressed by the bikes on here - just did an hour on mine to get myself a bit fitter for GT and inners weekend in a couple of weeks with neil S off here.

None of you have gripshift, cantis, lidl's own spds or any of the cutting edge stuff. Might uprate to even more high tech V brakes on front though as I hit the back of an XKR the other week when it outbraked me....
